December marks two great events this year. First of all, on December 15th I will officially be a college graduate with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Forensic Science and Anthropology.
I can’t wait!
Of course, this probably explains exactly why it’s been hard for me to keep a steady flow of updates coming. My final semester of my senior year was anything but easy I’m afraid.
The second great event in December is, of course, Christmas. It doesn’t matter what your religious denomination is or isn’t, Christmas is a time to spend with family and friends, tis the season to be jolly. There’s snow, baked goodies, warm fires, hot cocoa, great music, and of course – gifts!
Now I don’t know about you, but I love getting into the season with some great holiday music, movies, and of course books. From now until the end of December The Symposium will happily be providing in-depth reviews of some of the best (and possibly worst) holiday reads out there. That’s not to say I’m going to stop reviewing non-holiday related works of course.
So be sure to keep your eyes peeled for upcoming reviews for Dean Koontz’s Santa’s Twin and the anthology Holidays Are Hell from Kim Harrison, Lynsay Sands, Majorie M. Liu, and Vicki Pettersson.
Hopefully, after visiting TS you’ll be able to find a good holiday-read to snuggle up with, or perhaps you’ll even find the perfect gift for the bookworm in your life.
Either way, Happy Holidays!
