So there are some more arduous challenges out there, I know, but I thought it might be fun to give myself a smaller and more reasonable challenge given the funk I’ve been in.
The goal of this challenge is to read 28 books in 2008. Variety is strongly encouraged, only 3 books by the same author are allowed, and re-reads must be older than two years.
Obviously comic books and magazines do not count.
Please note: This list only reflects the books I have read since joining the challenge, and is not reflective of the books I read this year prior to the challenge.
So far I’ve read…
- No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong
- Chosen by a Horse by Susan Richards
- Photoshop CS2 for Dummies by Peter Bauer
- The Rose and the Beast by Francesca Lia Block
- All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris
- April Witch by Majgull Axelsson
- Bell, Book Dyke: New Exploits of Magical Lesbians by Karin Kallmaker et al
- Rebel Fay by Barb & J.C. Hendee
- Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
- In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (re-read for a review, way longer than 2 years.)
- Dancing with Werewolves by Carole Nelson Douglas
- From Baghdad, With Love: A Marine, the War, and a Dog Named Lava by Lieutenant Colonel Jay Kopelman
