9 for 2009 Book ChallengeAs you can see, I’ve decided to join yet another book challenge. This one is called 9 for 2009 and like the other challenge I joined, it too has themes. What makes this challenge interesting is that it is specifically designed to help you get some of those books that have been sitting in your TBR stack finished.

For example, you can only use books that are already sitting in your TBR stacks (be they online or hard copy). And, best of all, all genres and types are accepted. It doesn’t matter if you have a graphic novel to finish or a couple of ebooks, they’re all accepted. The catch, however, is that they better be good books since you must review them. ;)

Since I’ll be writing a review for each book in this challenge, here is my tentative list:

  1. Long: The Three Sisters by Rebecca Locksley
  2. Free: Cult Insanity by Irene Spencer (finished: 08/28/2009)
  3. Dusty: Eldest by Christopher Paolini
  4. Used: Growing Wings by Laurel Winter (finished: 05/16/2009)
  5. Letter: The Bar Code Tattoo by Suzanne Weyn (finished: 03/17/2009)
  6. Strange: Then Man Created God by D.G. McLeod (finished: 08/07/2009)
  7. Distance: Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost (finished: 04/05/2009)
  8. Alive or Not: The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare (finished: 05/22/2009)
  9. Cover: My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding by Sherrilyn Kenyon et al.

For an explanation of the themes, as well as the complete challenge rules, please visit the challenge home page. This post will be update as each book is finished and a review is posted.

As you might expect, the 9 for 2009 challenge runs for a full year. It starts December 27, 2008 and ends on December 27, 2009.
