I’ve been in serious need of more storage space for my books and this hanging corner shelf from CNS Office Furniture fit the bill wonderfully. It arrived Fed Ex in a surprisingly well-packed box (I’ve had experiences before where furniture shipped from other retailers arrived under less than desirable circumstances) and came with easy to read and understand instructions.

I was also pleasantly surprised at the height and depth of each shelf. While the dimensions were given on the website seeing it in person and assembling it was a different matter entirely. Each individual piece was made of sturdy materials and the color was exactly as I had envisioned it. The bookshelf came with the necessary bits and pieces and even included matching stickers to cover up where the screws were located.

You can’t really tell in the picture, but I have the corner bookshelf installed near my bed. I’m contemplating placing some of my more frequently read books on the bottom shelf. I also plan to place a couple of my dragon plushes on the bookshelf so that they are (at long last) completely out of the cats’ reach. But I can’t seem to make up my mind as to which books should get shelved there. Despite the fact that the materials are good quality and sturdy, it is still constructed out of PVC laminate, so I wouldn’t recommend placing anything too heavy on the shelves. It seems sturdy enough to handle hardback novels being stored on it, but they will definitely begin to wear on it. I would recommend selecting lighter items such as paperback novels, small figurines and trinkets, dvds, cds, and the like.

I was certainly tempted to buy a few items that I really don’t have the room for right now, that’s for sure.
